Aarogya Setu users can now generate an Ayushman Bharat health account number on the app: NHA
The National Health Authority (NHA) on Friday announced the integration of the Ayushman Bharat digital mission with the Aarogya Setu app. The integration aims to make it easy for Aarogya Setu users to enjoy government health mission benefits anywhere.
Now a user of Aarogya Setu app can generate their unique 14-digit ABHA (Ayushman Bharat Health Account) number through the app and use it to avail the benefits of Ayushman Bharat Yojana. Existing ABHA users can log in through the app and recipients’ existing medical records – previous prescriptions, lab test reports and other health-related data will be made available on the app if they are downloaded earlier. New users can upload new data and share these records with registered healthcare professionals and health service providers.
21.4 crore Aarogya Setu eligible to create an ABH account
According to government data, more than 21.4 million Aarogya Setu users will now be able to create the unique 14-digit ABHA numbers from the app. There are more than 16 million existing beneficiaries of Ayushman Bharat Health Mission who have created their digital accounts.
